Injectable fillers such as Restylane, perlane, Juvederm and Radiesse can be used successfully in correcting irregularities of the nose. Small depressions and irregularities of the nasal tip, bridge or even the side of the nose can all be “filled” with these products. They are particularly useful in patients that have had multiples prior operations. In these patients I would like to achieve improvement while reducing risk. Often these patients have had their stores of cartilage depleted and it can be “a long run for a short slide”. As long as the residual deformity is small and not of any real functional significance the fillers work extremely well. It takes just  a few minutes in the office with essentially no recovery.
